I totally love the randomness that I come across on pinterest. this morning, i learned about this textile museum in greenpoint, brooklyn which specializes in antique Japanese folk textiles. Most of the collection is available for purchase. They have an exhibit up in portland right now at the japanese garden and it explores the japanese concept of mottainai which means waste nothing.
